| Wow the middle of July already!!! David
Douglass is organsing a week-end
break during the middle of November and already it is sold out... and
it has not been advertised yet!!! Philip Wylie is running his annual Scarborough Dance Festival complete with dance cabaret. Phillip will also be running his annual Christmas House Party from 24th Dec to 27th and a New Year Dance Celebration on 31st December Saturday August 15th Dance
Rhythms will be
running a Summer Ball complete with a top dance demonstration. Click

UK Closed Championships took place in Bournmouth and highlights
saw Hampshire based Warren Boyce &
Kristi Boyce win the UK
Closed Professional Ballroom - Final. Click

Championships Dianne Haywood promoted an oustanding competition
at Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottingham where nearly every event some
copetitors had to quailfy for the final via a heat and even the
beginners and Novices had to fight through two rounds in some cases... |

Eurovision Dance Contest Postponed |
| In an earlier news Letter - 3rd June - we confirmed that the 3rd Eurovision Dance Contest was to be held in September this year, however Dancing diary has now been notified that it is now postponed until 2010. |
| Change of Venue |
| The competition to be held at Winsford on
20th September 2009,
has we understand has had to be cancelled. Nigel Horrocks has kindly offered to include these three EADA competitions in the Yorkshire Open Ballroom and Latin American Dance Festival, which were due to be held at Winsford: Juvenile Ballroom, Junior Latin and Youth Latin The Yorkshire Open Ballroom and Latin American Dance Festival, is to be held in Sheffield on Saturday 19th September 2009. |

learn to cha-cha-cha with dancer Kristina Rihanoff, by registering
to be part of the annual event to raise money for Macmillan Cancer
